Jon BW

on BW, based in Leeds. Took it upon himself to learn mixing techniques at 16 yrs of age. Jon's favourite genres at the time were House, Old Skool, Trance and Hardhouse. So an extensive vinyl collection began. Through the years Jon has been part of residencies at Club Nato Leeds starting in 1998 to 2000 playing House and Hard House, including at the time Hardhouse slots at Norths biggest Gay night Red Raw, organised by Terry George(mission). Jon has also played at Up yer Ronson quite a few times at Nato and Warehouse Leeds. He became a resident at Emphatic, Wakefield in 2002-3 and developed a small reputation from the Leeds crowd especially for his unique skills and Bootleg Productions of famous releases. Jon became a regular guest at Incision and was made a Biscuitmonster.com DJ on a new Years Day special in 03. Other events include Phat, Toast (manchester), Glasshouse, Housewives Choice, Insekt (London), and recently a winner of Parlez Vous? competition with a main Follow-Up set at the Mill.

Jon's productions are the main field for him and he's fast becoming recognised nationwide. Jon's ho me label Contact Recordings launched in 06 (owned by Simon Paul) is seeing the 4th release due Xmas 06. Recently signed "Scream 4 Daddy" was whipped up by the Tidy Boys and appeared on Tidy Tools EP 3 (Nov) and "Nasty" on Tidy Digital.
2007 looks up to be the year for Jon with Productions lined up for numerous Hardhouse labels including Jon's brand new label "BW recordings" launching in January!
