Addiction has become, quite simply, a hard dance phenomenon. Beginning as a free Thursday club night in the basement of cult London venue The Southside Bar, never before has a promotion achieved so much in such a short space of time. Addiction has hosted some of the countries’ biggest DJ’s and producers and has developed a reputation, which is simply unparalleled across the clubbing scene at present. The birth of Addiction Digital, an entirely online-based MP3 record label, will further enhance Addiction’s reputation as being a true innovator.

Our mission is simple. At present, the hard trance scene has become inundated with bootlegs, remixes and covers, meaning original tracks are becoming harder and harder to come by. Given also that vinyl is currently a struggling medium, many labels are folding before their first release even hits the shelves. Addiction Digital offers an entirely new concept. We offer original hard trance tracks that the masses are simply crying out for, in a medium which is instantly up to date with the current record climate. Our goal as a label is not to make money; it is to push new artists, push the Addiction brand and ultimately, of course, give the hard dance clubbers and DJs exactly what they want; proper, original, well-rounded hard trance.

Addiction have appointed their Resident DJ Olly Perris, a man with plentiful experience in the hard dance scene as their label manager. Being an established producer having sold in excess of 50,000 records, and appearing on a Top 40 single, he knows a thing or two about decent hard trance, and it is his aim to give the record buying public exactly what they want - quality hard trance. With the support of Andy T Addiction's founder, one man who knows almost all there is to know about successful promotion and, of course a successful DJ in his own right, it’s fair to say that Addiction Digital is backed by people who know exactly what they’re doing, and exactly how to give you what you want.
