From its headquarter in Bochum,
Ruhr-Area, Opaque Music is run and handled by people who are close to the scene
and passionate about the music. With the aim of releasing quality house music
it was set up by Mashup Kid Thimo US in 1999. With a constantly growing release
schedule, both up-and-coming and well established artists and the recently
successfully launched sub-label Demeanour, Opaque is nowadays one of the most
respected independent dance labels in Germany and across the globe.
